The goal of the Key Kids program is to provide a safe, nurturing, kind, and enriching atmosphere for all children. We want all students to be successful at Key Kids. The following testimonials were written by mothers for two of our Key Kids students:
“Key Kids is a wonderful program that has helped my child to learn how to follow rules, respect others, and interact with other children. This program helps me to keep my full-time job with the hours it provides. United way has helped with the cost to keep her in this program. Being a single mother with 2 kids, I’m thankful that there is a United Way program to help out.”
“Thank goodness for Key Kids! Key Kids allows my family to have both parents working and gives my school-aged child a safe, consistent and affordable place to go after school each day. Moreover, my son is more connected to the Madison community as a whole. He knows children from all grade levels and they look out for each other.
We are also extremely grateful for the United Way to be partnering with Key Kids. Job setbacks in the past year have made making ends meet difficult. A reduction in our Key Kids cost could not have come at a better, more necessary time for our family. I hope the United Way will continue to work with Key Kids!”
